This policy explains what information A.K. Nursery collects through this website, why, and how it is handled. We have kept it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we store the details you type into the form:

• your name and phone number;
• your email address, if you choose to give it;
• the crop and variety you ask about, any quantity or requirement, and your message;
• the date and time the enquiry was received.

To protect the form from spam, your IP address is used briefly to limit how many enquiries can be sent in a short period. It is held only in a temporary counter that expires after about fifteen minutes and is not linked to your enquiry.

Browsing the public website does not require an account, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and to follow up on it — for example, to discuss varieties, availability, quantities or supply. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in the database that runs this website, hosted with our website and database providers. Only members of the A.K. Nursery family who manage the website can view them, through a password-protected administration area. If email notifications are switched on, a copy of each enquiry is also sent to our own inbox through an email delivery service.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as they are useful for replying and for our ongoing relationship with you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the details you have shared with us at any time. Use the contact page and we will respond as soon as we can.

Cookies

The public website does not set cookies for tracking. The administration area uses a single, strictly necessary cookie to keep authorised family members signed in.

Changes

If the way we handle information changes — for example, if we add online ordering — we will update this page first.
